Axolotl Cave – Medium-sized tunnel made of clay for axolotl with textured surface
Axolotls like it shady and to retreat into small niches or tunnels. A low ceiling height accommodates their need for security.
This cave shape was adapted to the needs of axolotls in cooperation with keepers and breeders.
But tunnels of this design are also ideal for other ornamental fish and invertebrates in our aquariums, such as catfish, loaches or larger crayfish.
This model has a structured surface transferred from a real rock, which gives the hiding place a more natural character.
Each tunnel is unique, color deviations are desired and intended.

With all the hiding places that we offer for axolotls, we attach great importance to injury-free surfaces and entrances, so that as a rule no reworking by you is necessary.
