Aphanotorulus ammophilus (L123)

Young larvae of Aphanotorulus ammophilus L 123 at the age of about 7 days

… and the fry at the age of approx. 30 days. By then they had already reached an impressive 30 mm!

They mainly feed on the open sandy areas, but also like to eat walnut leaves.

Up to a size of 5-6 cm (after 3 months!) they grow through practically without any major interruption

In the second batch there were a total of 195 offspring, which must have been at least 2, more likely 3 clutches…
