Hiding and spawning caves in black alder wood
As an alternative to caves in bogwood, which is becoming more and more difficult to obtain, the use of black alder wood (Alnus glutinosa) is a good choice. The wood of the caves offered by us comes from untreated black alder. The holes are handmade by us. Diameters up to 50 mm are possible. Larger than 50 mm is in our opinion also not very useful, see our blog post about alder wood caves.
